In Sales, I gained firsthand experience in the prospecting process by listening in on sales calls and observing how Coupa’s Sales Representatives approach prospective clients, actively listening to their needs and pain points. I also conducted research on possible pain points that prospective clients could have, which Coupa’s services cover. This gave me a better understanding of what our products do.
In Digital Marketing, I joined the US team and had an incredibly enjoyable and enriching experience. I was given the opportunity to not only write my own ads for the first time in my native language, Portuguese, but also localize existing ads into Portuguese and set them up in LinkedIn campaigns while tracking their performance. Being trusted with these responsibilities gave me a strong sense of confidence in my abilities, making the process of learning new skills even more interesting.
Lastly, in Human Resources, I joined the EMEA Team to provide support through the Service Desk, addressing employees' questions and fulfilling requests for business letters. Working on these processes showed me how much the company values providing a great employee experience and ensuring that the workforce receives support whenever needed.
As I approach the end of my studies, I look back on these three years working with Coupa with gratitude. This experience has given me not only practical skills and knowledge, which I had the privilege of applying and refining, but has also shown me how rewarding it is to strive for excellence in my work and allowed me to develop valuable interpersonal skills. I couldn’t be happier about my decision to have chosen Coupa.
